Cedarberg ( 5 Days)The Cedarberg Wilderness area has become a legendary destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. The spectacular rock formations, unique plant life, rock-art and serene silence bring visitors back again and again. We offer tours in two versions. In the LEISURE VERSION you can enjoy the mountain scenery and attractions in comfort and at an easy pace. We tour the Cedarberg by minibus, enjoying the scenery, flora, and fantastic rock formations, and visiting attractions such as the Stadsaal Caves, ancient rock art, the old mission village at Wuppertal, a picnic by the river at Algeria and so on. We stay in very comfortable accommodation - in Mount Cedar Lodge in the heart of the mountains (2 nts), and in the well-known Clanwilliam Hotel (2 nts). In contrast, the ACTIVE VERSION is designed for active people with a keen interest in walking and nature, who want to spend a lot of time out and about in the open air. Meals are generally al fresco and informal. We stay in rustic accommodation, at two different locations deep in the heart of the Cedarberg.
