Eight Bells
(5 Days)
Our aim is to give you a really comfortable and relaxing 5-day
break, far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We stay at
one of the Cape’s most famous country hotels - the Eight Bells
Mountain Inn, at the foot of the Robinson Pass and the Outeniqua
Mountains. It’s set on a 400-acre estate amid green countryside
with superb mountain views.
There’s a bowling green, large swimming-pool, indoor and outdoor
sun patios, library, tennis courts, and much more.
Within the estate there are colour-coded walking trails, and the
bird watching is good. Thus much time can be spent enjoying the
hotel itself and the immediate surroundings.
We take you on outings
every day to nearby beauty spots and places of interest - on the
coast and in the nearby mountains and forests. One special
highlight is the trip by ’power van’ (a sort of powered railway
carriage!) high up into pristine mountain areas luxuriant with
fynbos.
